Election for the Board of Directors

General information

The Institute’s by-laws stipulate that the Board of Directors must be made up of ten individuals elected from among its members, a maximum of three Board-appointed public representatives, and one representative designated by FP Canada.

The members of the Board are elected in accordance with the Institute’s by-laws on a staggered-term basis.

Board members are appointed for two-year terms. The Board meets five times per year. Members receive meeting attendance allowances, and their travel and accommodation expenses are reimbursed. In addition, they are covered by liability insurance.

There are no Board vacancies at the moment.

Within five days of the close of voting, the results will be announced to the candidates and then communicated by email to all who were eligible to vote. The results will also be published on the Institute’s website.
