This course equips you to translate knowledge from earlier modules into real‑world client scenarios. You will align recommendations with client objectives, constraints, and risk profiles; incorporate behavioural finance insights; connect advice to portfolio construction; and apply foundational tax planning strategies. The course also covers suitability determinations, performance measurement (including risk‑adjusted metrics), and regulatory obligations for ongoing monitoring, reporting, and maintaining client relationships (records, communications, complaint handling).

By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Analyze client investment objectives, risk profile, and performance expectations for tailored recommendations.
- Assess non‑financial constraints and ESG preferences in portfolio decisions.
- Identify behavioural biases that affect client decisions and investment outcomes.
- Apply due diligence and suitability requirements to select appropriate products consistent with Know‑Your‑Product (KYP).
- Construct and adjust portfolios using Know-Your-Client (KYC) information and risk‑return analysis.
- Calculate and apply time value of money and basic tax planning strategies in recommendations.
- Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, including risk‑adjusted returns and benchmark comparisons.
- Maintain regulatory compliance for client records, communications, and complaint handling.

This course supports the development of the transversal competency Diligence, by enabling participants to manage orders, accounts, and trades accurately, follow procedures and regulatory requirements, and verify the correctness and compliance of operations to ensure reliable, high-quality work.
Additionally, it contributes to the development of the transversal competency Investigation, by enabling participants to define, gather, and analyze the information required to understand trading activities. It equips them to identify red flags, ask the right questions, properly document situations, and apply escalation mechanisms to ensure regulatory compliance and client protection.
