Terms and conditions

Cancellations and refunds for classroom or virtual classroom training activities 

A fee of $90 plus taxes applies if you cancel an activity within 7 days of the course date. No refunds or discounts will be given for cancellations on or after the course date.

Cancellations and refunds for online training activities (asynchronous)

No refunds are given once the activity has begun. The activity will be refunded free of charge if cancellation is requested within 30 days of the purchase date. No refunds will be given for cancellations made 31 days or more after purchase.

Bundles


The amount paid for a professional development activity cannot be deducted from the purchase price of a Regular or Unlimited Bundle once the activity has been purchased.

Right of cancellation


The Institute reserves the right to cancel a professional development activity if the number of registrations is insufficient.

Learning modes

  • Virtual Classes

    Virtual classes are live, remote courses. There is usually some preparatory work to be completed on the web beforehand.

  • Hybrid Courses

    Our hybrid courses consist of a virtual class to be taken live on a given date and a web module that you can complete online at your own pace. There is also preparatory work to complete.

  • Online Courses

    Our web-based courses are asynchronous, which means that you take them without having to be connected at a specific time. They are given entirely online. You can take your course wherever and whenever you want, at your own pace!
